A Little Bit About Me
I'm Australian born, and I have also lived 10 years in India and the middle east. I'm more spiritually religious than traditionally.
I'm humorous, fun, philosophical, practical and detail oriented, but also adaptable, try to keep balanced in all circumstances.
A diverse upbringing, traveling and desire to learn has helped put life into perspective.
I like experiencing as much as possible, lately getting into scuba diving, photography, music (jazz, rock, folk concerts in London, Sydney, Beirut, Amman).
I've worked for 17 years as a water/wastewater treatment engineer in Sydney, Canberra, Tanzania and Jordan. I have volunteered in my field of expertise and recently completed 2.5 yrs with UN for Syria crisis.
I own my house in Canberra, Australia, and I'm redesigning and building my parents house now (August 2015) in Sydney.
I love to hear about other's creative endeavors and how people express themselves and learning about cultures.
I love to have fun, make people laugh, cook for family and friends.
I like to keep fit and healthy.
I'm a family man who hopes to have one, sooner the better.
I have a loving, supportive family of dad (retired engineer), mum (retired economics teacher), oldest sister (living with husband in Sydney), older sister (Computer Science, with family in Detroit USA). I am grateful to my parents for exposing me to a rich cultural history/traditions, good values, religion, art, etc. I respect these greatly as a foundation for our family's progress. I hope to establish my own good foundation for my family also.
